Richard joined Castle following a long and successful corporate and commercial banking career at Lloyds Banking Group working in both the large corporate and mid market commercial sectors, including Director Global Corporate Banking and Area Director South of England.

Richard’s general management and business development experience gained at Lloyds TSB provide him with an excellent platform at Castle to advise and support SMEs in performance improvement and turnaround situations.

Once a strategy is adopted Richard is usually retained to support and lead agreed initiatives to achieve the desired change. Often working in a tense business environment, his personable manner is essential when dealing with owners, management and staff alike.

Caroline, a solicitor, is a French and German speaker and gained a reputation for European sales and acquisitions in the years after she qualified and began practising corporate law.

As a partner heading up the corporate department in a large regional law firm for a number of years, she worked regularly as a deal-maker with a number of blue chip companies and venture capital houses.

Caroline left private practice to become managing director of a telecoms software company, oversaw its expansion in the US and South American market and successfully negotiated its sale to a US buyer.

She is non-executive deputy chairman of a manufacturing plc in the South West of England. She regularly works in a consultancy capacity assisting businesses to develop their potential and is an experienced M&A adviser.

Graham specialises in advising growth companies on initial public offerings (IPO), capital raising, merger and acquisition strategy.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Graham was a lead Corporate Finance partner at Coopers & Lybrand and a member of the firm's governing council.

As the firm's Head of European Flotations, Graham was asked by the European Commission to carry out a report on the feasibility of the European Stock Market.

Graham was subsequently a member of the pressure group that lobbied the Stock Exchange to meet the needs of the smaller public company - leading to the formation of the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) by the London Stock Exchange. He was subsequently a co-founder and Member of the Executive Committee of the Quoted Company Alliance - promoting the interests of smaller quoted companies.
